Terms and Conditions

By ordering with SAN DIEGO WINE CO., LLC, the customer agrees to have read fully and understood our terms and conditions. The following is a list of our terms and conditions:

Internet Order Processing

Internet orders are subject to credit card verification and are processed in 1 - 3 days, this processing time does not include shipping days.

All orders are subject to availability and limited to stock on hand. We make every effort to fill orders completely. We ask for your understanding when a product or vintage becomes unavailable and we will gladly recommend a similar wine.

Refund and Exchange Policy

There are no cash, check or credit card refunds for alcohol under any circumstances. California Alcohol and Beverage Laws prohibit these types of refunds.

Futures Orders

FUTURES orders MUST BE A THREE (3) BOTTLE MINIMUM ORDER. All sales are final on Bordeaux futures. Your futures order will ship as soon as it arrives.
FUTURES orders are charged as soon as they are ordered, but we will not charge shipping on FUTURES purchases until the order is shipped.
If you purchase both FUTURES and in-stock items, we will ship the in-stock items of your order immediately.

In-Store Pickup Policy

For free  " in-store"  pickup orders, WE REQUIRE a SIX (6) bottle minimum purchase per order or a $150 minimum purchase.

Shipping Policy

We arrange, on your behalf and responsibility, shipment with a common carrier to make the delivery. If shipment is returned for any reason other than SAN DIEGO WINE CO., LLC 'S error, the customer must pay any additional shipping required. Please note, we DO NOT ship to a PO BOX address.

We ship Ground, Next Day Air, and 2nd Day Air via UPS:
• Ground Service - approximately 1-6 business days in transit
• 2nd Day Air - 2 business days in transit
• Next Day Air - 1 business day in transit

Our prices include wine shipper packaging.  Wine shippers come in 1 bottle, 2 bottle, 3 bottle, 6 bottle and 12 bottle sizes, we also offer single and doube bottle magnum shippers

Insurance is available for an additional charge.
 We offer a "Comments or requirements" notation if you would like a specific delivery date. We will make every attempt to meet your request.

 The weather conditions are critical to wine (extreme high and low temperatures). We are unable to replace bottles that are damaged by the weather. SAN DIEGO WINE CO., LLC assumes no liability for wine damaged due to poor weather during transport. This can include freezing or leaking. Be sure of shipping conditions before placing a ship order. Your order may be delayed until ideal conditions for shipment.

All orders shipped outside of CA are not subject to CA state sales tax.
All orders picked up at our location (7080 Miramar Rd. Ste. 100, San Diego, CA 92121) are subject to sales tax.

Age Restriction

Wines may be sold only to persons at least 21 years of age.

By placing an order, you are warranting to us that you are 21 years of age. Wines may be delivered only to persons at least 21 years of age. Our shippers will require a signature of someone at least 21 years of age at the time of delivery. Positive ID may be required. If the wine is returned to us for failure to provide positive proof of age, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges.

SAN DIEGO WINE CO., LLC requires that each order contain the correct name, billing address, CVC code and zip code for the credit card used. If the information you provide is not an exact match, we will not process your order and accept no liability regarding your order or timeliness of delivery.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are sold on the website in value increments from $25 to $500. The card contains value which may be used to purchase goods with the exception of other cards. The gift card may not be redeemed for cash and the unused value remains on the card. San Diego Wine Co. is not responsible for the lost, stolen or damaged gift card or any unauthorized use. For card balances got to: www.mercury-gift.com and enter the entire number listed on the back of your card including the dash and 5 digits following.
PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to apply your gift card to a purchase online, at check out there will be a Gift Card section, enter the 19 digit number BUT DO NOT ENTER the Dash and the 5 numbers following.

 

Privacy/Security Policy

Shopping with San Diego Wine Co. LLC is SAFE. We use the latest encryption technology to protect your credit card security. San Diego Wine Co. LLC maintains online security through THWATE, which insures safety when transmitting credit card numbers and personal information over the internet.
