D66 2017 Greanche

One of the most sought after wines from the Dave Phinney portfolio is this D66 Grenache from the southwest corner of France in an area called Maury. So many of you know this wine that we are not going to spend a lot of time trying to hype it up. However, the story as how it came to be is worth telling. So the following is from Dave Phinney's personal experience. As for those who don't know this winemaker, he is the original founder of the Prisoner, Saldo, then Orin Swift Cellars which include Papillon, Abstract, Mercury Head just to name a few. Wow!
