The grapes are sourced from Opolo's estate vineyards in Paso Robles. Cool ocean breezes and foggy mornings maintain lower summer temperatures which produces exceptionally expressive fruit. Rich, dark berry, black currant, plum jam and violets on the full-bodied, smooth finish.
Without a doubt this is the rich, fruit forward style that defines many Paso Robles reds. Yet, what makes this wine a touch better than last year's is its depth and complexity inter-mixed with that big Paso fruit flavor.
Fans of the entry level Justin and Daou Cabernet Sauvignon's do not miss this wine! This is an incredible bargain and do we dare say a better wine?!
