We have not been able to keep this wine in stock. We have learned our lesson and brought in additional inventory to keep up with the demand. Why is this so popular? Probably because it reminds you of the Prisoner Red Blend of 15 years ago. When it was affordable for most, flavor was outstanding and only a few thousand cases were produced.
From Wine Advocate: The 2016 Chronology Red is a blend of 30% Petite Sirah, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Grenache, with the balance of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Mission, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot. Aged in 14% new French and American oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it has intense scents of cassis, warm plums, black cherries and violets with hints of black pepper. ~Brian's Top Pick~
