Reserve de Marande 2022 Pinot Noir

WOW! Wines at this price-point with this type of quality don't come around too often. We tasted this a few weeks back and it was a unanimous thumbs up and an immediate candidate for our Wine of the Month!

Although crafted in the Languedoc/Roussillon region the winemaker honed his skills in Burgundy. The Languedoc region is definitely warmer than most of Burgundy but this producer was able to tame the riper fruit that comes from the warmer weather.

Lovely aromas of raspberry and cherry, subtle smoky and peppery hints with some thyme. Fruity, elegant, well-balanced and a silky long finish.What an absolute steal at this price! Perfect Red wine for those hot August nights! Pure enjoyment!
