2015 Wahluke Slope, Columbia Valley
Cabernet Sauvignon

This winery was on Wine Spectator's Top 10 wineries to watch for in Washington State in 2016. No wonder, as this is the second year in a row we have promoted this wine as one of the best value Cabernet Sauvignon's you will find under $20 from anywhere!
LUKE Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas dominated by Marionberry and dark chocolate, accented by hints of mint and molasses. Supple, focused and expressive, layering coffee-accented blackberry and currant flavors with polished tannins and hints of cedar and smoke.

2015 Vaucluse

This comes from a boutique importer on the west coast. She is meticulous in her quest to find producers to help her blend quality wines at a reasonable price that she can label under her company name. Think Kermit Lynch except she produces a fraction of the quantity.
A crowd-pleasing Grenache that is great on its own or will match up with a ton of different food options. Pair with grilled chicken, salmon, roasted vegetables, pork chops, mac and cheese, and we could go on and on.
Just give it a try!

2013 Alicante
Red Blend

91 Wine Advocate
$30 everywhere else!
The 2013 Triga is a blend of Monastrell and Cabernet Sauvignon from five different vineyards, some older and some younger, fermented with indigenous yeasts. It matured in a combination of French and American barriques for some 20 months. Ripe, extracted and oaky wine for fans of the style, but you need to cellar it for a couple of years for the effect of the oak to diminish.
This review was nearly 2 years ago and the oak has integrated nicely. Creamy, toasty vanilla flavors are still present but not overwhelming by any stretch.

By Johan Vineyards

2016 Willamette Valley
Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir is made entirely from an  Biodynamic® certified, estate grown fruit from Johan Vineyards. The grapes were fermented in small batches using only native yeast – for both primary and malolactic fermentation. During primary fermentation the cap was pumped-over or punched down by foot twice a day. Once the wine fermented dry, it was pressed off the skins and barreled down into french oak barrels, where it
aged for 7 months. The Farmlands Pinot Noir is fresh, vibrant and juicy, with nice tannin
structure and balance.

Two Hands

2016 McLaren Vale

92 Wine Spectator
Demonstrating a level of restraint for a McLaren Vale red, this Shiraz provides sweet blue fruit notes of fresh blueberry, juniper and mulberry bracketed by a cleansing pop of acidity and savoury tannin. The sweet fruit entry gently yields to savoury notes of dried bay leaf, briar, dried herbs and dried rose petals.
A wine of sneaky length that catches you off-guard, it slowly builds across the palate. The late palate is puncuated by notes of ash and wild game.

Two Hands

2016 Barossa Valley

93 Wine Spectator
Hits the palate with vibrancy and pop. Bright berry notes dance across the palate. Medium to full-bodied with richness of fruit balanced by bright refreshing acidity. Tannins are prominent but melt beautifully into a wall of fruit. Finished with a lovely long palate, accented by notes of red licorice, lavender, and dark chocolate with a creamy texture from lees contact.

2015 Santa Maria Valley
Pinot Noir

92 Wine Advocate

From Wine Advocate: Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir is scented of violets, cinnamon stick and Ceylon tea over a core of red cherries and raspberries, plus a hint of dried Provence herbs. The light to medium-bodied palate offers up a fantastic intensity of perfumed red berries supported by soft, silky tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with a lovely herbal lift.

Smith Deveruex

2016 Napa Valley

Formerly called Hanaiali'i. Our customers loved last year's vintage. Don't miss this as it is a winner once again.  Limited release Napa Valley Chardonnay highlights sustainably farmed fruit and meticulous winemaking techniques. With just a light kiss of buttery oak, this hand-crafted wine is elegant, well-structured and refined, yet playful and full of life. Cellar for up to three years if you like, but we suggest enjoying immediately as a wine that is this fun and tasty should not have to wait, and neither should you.

Chateau Rocher-

2015 Montagne St. Emilion

The 2015 vintage in Bordeaux is one not to be missed! Great vintages provide great values and this is a perfect example. At this price and quality, it represents one of the very early deals of the year. Chateau Rocher Calon is situated on some of the best soils of Montagne St. Emilion, which directly borders renowned St. Emilion, to the south. Made with meticulous attention to detail, employing the highest quality winemaking practices, this Merlot dominated blend achieves much of the silky softness and elegance of its more illustrious neighbors, but for a much lower price tag.

Frederic Magnien

2015 Bourgogne

Once again an example of a great vintage in Burgundy producing an exceptional value! Magnien differentiates himself from other
négociants in that he works closely with partner growers throughout the growing season, selecting only older-vine parcels cared for to his exacting standards. His own teams pick the grapes at harvest, a further qualitative step. The vineyards Magnien works with are now either certifed organic or in the process of conversion.
