Enrico Serafino

2016 Piedmont
Del Comune di Gavi

Enrico Serafino was founded in 1878 in Canale d’Alba, one of the main towns in the Roero region of Piemonte, Italy, which has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages as a farming center for the area. Today the winery still stands in its original location, making it the oldest winery in the region.
Clearly after this many years they know what they are doing. Check out this ridiculously refreshing white wine. Delightfuly fresh with subtle apple, pear and mineral notes on the slighty nutty finish.

Jean Foillard

Fom a fantastic Beaujolais producer!
The winemaking process starts with old vines, never using synthetic herbicides or pesticides, harvesting late, rigorously sorting to remove all but the healthiest grapes, adding minimal doses of sulfur dioxide or none at all, and refusing both chaptalization and filtration. The end result is a wine of purity and precision. Bright ripe fruit with just enough complexity to keep it memorable. Imported by Kermit Lynch

2015 Russian River Valley

The floral, mineral, and lime aromas and steely structure of the River Vineyard are complemented by the peach and apricot aromas and more fleshy structure of the Wood Vineyard. Winemaking techniques including sur-lie aging, lees stirring, full malolactic fermentation, and the
measured use of some new French oak are employed to bring you this delicious rendition from Sonoma’s premier Chardonnay appellation.

Gundlach Bundschu

2016 Sonoma County
Red Blend
Remember the awesome 2013 vintage of this wine? We weren't fans of the past 2 vintages, but this 2016 is reminding us of the very popular 2013! A Bordeaux-inspired blend for everyday life that’s soft, lush and smooth but never sweet. Dangerously easy-drinking, this Merlot and Cabernet-based red wine offers balance, food-friendly structure and approachability. It's crafted for everyday enjoyment in Sonoma Valley.
Rich, smooth and delicious.

Emilio Moro

2015 Spain
Ribera Del Duero

#59 in the TOP 100, Wine Spec. 2017
90 Wine Spectator

Emilio Moro is the flagship bottling from the Bodega. It is produced from 100% Tinto Fino from vines ranging from 15-25 years of age. It undergoes a 28-day skin maceration followed by 12 months of aging in French and American barrels. This is a classic example of Ribera del Duero and an excellent value. Fresh and lively with black cherry, red plum and currant flavors backed by dark chocolate, anise and toasty notes.

Tablas Creek

2015 Paso Robles

90 Wine Spectator
89 Wine Advocate
91 Vinous

The Tablas Creek Vineyard Patelin de Tablas is a blend of four red Rhône varietals: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Counoise. The wine incorporates fruit from several of the top Rhône vineyards in Paso Robles, each vineyard selected for its quality. Like many red wines from the Rhône Valley, it is based on the dark fruit, mineral and spice of Syrah, with the brightness and fresh acidity of Grenache, the structure and meatiness of Mourvèdre and a small addition of Counoise for complexity.

Olivier Leflaive

2015 Bourgogne
Burgundy Blanc

Last years bottling was one of the most successful White Burgundy offerings we have ever had in our store. Our customers recognized the quality this wine offered at under $20. Its very difficult to produce back- to-back winners but they have done it once again with this bottling.
A stunning value from Burgundy! Medium-bodied with green apple flavors, a touch of pear, mineral and a hint of toasty oak on the slightly nutty finish.

2014 Mosel

91 Wine Advocate
WAS $19

From Wine Advocate: Julian Haart's Riesling Piesporter is sourced 100% in the Grand Cru part of the vineyard from 25-year-old vines. The overture on the nose is intense and ripe, very clear, pure and deep, and an authentic Piesport. Full-bodied, pure, complex and salty on the palate, this is a very persistent and tension-filled, dry Riesling with great purity and mineral expression.

2015 Russian River Valley
Pinot Noir

Hartford's 2015 Pinot Noir lineup is spectacular. Most of the vineyard specific wines are twice this price. This is their entry-level, which is a fantastic wine!

From the Winery: We love Pinot Noir and in many years make about 15 of them with fruit from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Green Valley, Carneros, Anderson Valley, Marin and Oregon appellations. We feel that Pinot Noir makes the most seductive red wine, notable for its supple, silky texture. Pinot Noir is also known for expressing vineyard site characteristics in a transparent manner.

2014 Valtellina

Valtellina produces almost exclusively red wines, made of Chiavennasca, the local name for the Nebbiolo grape. Local wines made with Chiavennasca have developed different characteristics from their cousins in Barolo or Barbaresco. Less tannic and powerful, the Nebbiolos of Valtellina are more delicate, with a lot of elegance. Valtellina is a valley in Lombardy that borders Switzerland. It is spectacularly beautiful! That valley has produced a Nebbiolo that would rival any Barolo at $40 plus a bottle!
Don't miss this Barolo fans!

Herman Story

2015 Central Coast
Red Wine

A new vintage of this popular GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre) Red Blend.
Why try and describe this wine ourselves when you have Russel P. providing the inspirational description:
From the Winery: All the fun of impressing your date with a clandestine tour of your rich uncle’s topsail schooner at Newport Harbor Yacht Club: forbidden blackberries, fresh baked dark chocolate brownies, distant engine oil, rain ,wet sage, maduro cigars, 1000 leather bound books, raspberry coulis and the devilish pleasure of getting away.

Antico Masseria del Sigillo

2015 Puglia
Primitivo di Manduria

90 Wine Spectator

Last year's bottling was OFF THE CHARTS successful. This producer was able to pull it off again! Loads of flavor here, if you like California Zinfandel, give this a try! The Primitivo di Manduria  vineyards are planted on layers of limestone and clay, not the typical sandy soil found to the south. Additionally the hot weather of the summer months and mild temperatures in the winter allows the grapes to develop complex and intense flavors. When combined with cutting edge winemaking techniques, the wines display great amounts of elegance not typically found from this area.
