Treves

2016 Canavese

Nebbiolo

Technically speaking, Canavese is a part of Piedmont at the frontier of Valle d’Aosta. This area is reknowned for its steeply terraced vineyards and mild climate producing high quality at an affordable price. This wine is a beauty as it exudes finesse and elegance at a fraction of the price of most Barolo and Barbaresco. Bright cherry, raspberry and floral notes with mineral and hints of earthiness on the finish.

Tenuta delle Terre Nere

2017 Sicily

Etna Rosso

91 Wine Spectator

The vineyards for this beautfiul red wine from Sicily are found on the hillsides of Mount Etna.
From Wine Spectator: This medium-bodied red is creamy and finely balanced overall, though a firm core of tannins structures the flavors of crushed raspberry, cherry and tangy mineral, with hints of dried marjoram and woodsy spice. Fresh and lovely. Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.

Domaine Gallety

2015 Valle du Rhone

Blanc

If you had to build a gate between the northern and southern Rhone, signaling your passage from one to the other, you might situate it at Domaine Gallety. Gallety craft singular reds and whites that exhibit some of the defining characteristics of both the northern and southern Rhone.
Made of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, and Roussanne, and aged two years in old barrels, it has just the right amount of chiseled richness without sacrificing any freshness.
 Imported by Kermit Lynch.

Lang & Reed

2015 North Coast

Cabernet Franc

From one of the premier Cabernet Franc producers in California. The ‘North Coast’ designation is an approved American Viticultural Area (AVA) that encompasses five counties that are directly affected by maritime influence by touching the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco Bay or Clear Lake. The Cabernet Franc grapes from four of the five counties – Napa, Sonoma, Lake and Suisun. The diversity of climate, soil and aspect allows a broad array of characteristics and ripeness so that the final blend is greater than any of the parts.Textbook Cabernet Franc flavors of gorgeous violet, raspberry, and herbal scents.

The Four Graces

2017 Willamette Valley

Pinot Gris

We know you love their Pinot Noir, their Pinot Gris is also outstanding!
Deliciously bright, fresh and crisp. Aromas of pineapple, Meyer lemon and honeysuckle and showcasing luscious flavors of grapefruit, kiwi and lemon zest followed by a bright acidity that lingers on the finish. The perfect summer sipping wine.

Chateau Lanessan

2016 Haut Medoc

Bordeaux

90 Wine Advocate

Neal Martin's description, when he was with the Wine Advocate, sums up this wine nicely.
From Neal Martin: The 2016 Lanessan has a perfumed, quite floral bouquet with graphite tinged black fruit—fine delineation with impressive focus, even if it is not the most complex Haut-Medoc that I encountered in this vintage out of barrel. The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannin, well-judged acidity, plenty of black fruit with a harmonous, engaging and slightly tarry finish. This is a great Lanessan that should give 20 years of pleasure. This comes highly recommended and I expect it will land at the top of my banded score once in bottle.

Matchbook

2017 Dunnigan Hills
THE ARSONIST

Chardonnay

Fans of rich, creamy, smooth California Chardonnay should not miss this very tasty wine!
From the winery: Matchbook’s 2017 The Arsonist Chardonnay is a luscious blend of the best barrel lots of estate-grown fruit. A beautiful golden straw color opens to aromas of toasty oak, crème brûlèe, brown sugar and mango. Dense flavors of pineapple, caramel apples and baking spices are layered over creamy buttery notes and a touch of vanilla. This is a full-bodied Chardonnay loaded with opulent flavors that are well-integrated and balanced.
The Arsonist Chardonnay has enough depth of flavor to hold up to lobster, pasta with a cream sauce and, for the adventurous, a well-marbled steak.

Torbreck

2017 Barossa
WOODCUTTERS

Shiraz

93 Wine Spectator

The best Woodcutter's in many years! Although this wine is constantly praised for its succulence and richness, there is also a complexity and texture which is rarely found at this price.
From Wine Spectator: Aromatic and stylish, opening with violet, white pepper and subtle sweet cream notes. The core gushes with huckleberry and wild blueberry flavors, revealing shades of rosemary and apricot. Supple and smooth, with tannins hanging in the background, providing appealing traction. The finish sails on and on.
