2015 Tuscany

95 Wine Spectator

WOW! An awesome Chianti Classico from the incredible 2015 vintage at this amazing price! Last call on this amazing Chianti Classico Riserva! Will go quickly over these next few weeks.
From Wine Spectator: "Intense aromas of black currant, blackberry, flint, iron, tar and black pepper mark this powerful red, which is vibrant and solidly tannic, yet all the components are in the right place. There's terrific energy on the lingering aftertaste of dark fruit and mineral. Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah."

2016 Santa Rita Hills

Pinot Noir

95 Antonio Galloni
92 Wine Advocate

Without a doubt one of the best Melville Estate Pinot Noir's in the last few years!
Don't miss this gem! Silky texture, intense, juicy earth with accented red fruits.
Winery Notes: Pale ruby in color, ripe and vivid aromatics of red raspberry, orange zest and rhubarb spring from the glass. On the palate, savory notes of black tea, nori and eucalyptus mingle with fresh impressions of pomegranate, Bing cherry and plum skin. Soft tannins and fresh acidity, combined with the tenderness of the wine lead to a lengthy and cohesive finish. ~Mark's Top Pick~

2015 Bennett Valley

93 Wine Spectator

The under the radar Chardonnay of the year for those who love the rich, creamy, buttery style that is still immensely popular!
From Wine Spectator: Delightfully rich and lively, medium-weight yet packed with flavors highlighting tangerine, nectarine and spicy oak, with a long, layered aftertaste that keeps you coming back for more.

2015 Napa Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon

Winery Price $75

Easily one of the top selling Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon's of the year. Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon prices have skyrocketed over the years so to find this kind of quality under $30 is almost unheard of! This wine showcases the very best the valley floor has to offer, with fruit that was sourced primarily from the illustrious Rutherford and Oakville appellations. As the wine opens up aromas of cassis and plum take center stage, then layers of spice and vanilla emerge. Full-bodied and luscious at its core, the seductive black fruit is laced with a touch of vanilla.

A definite SDWBC TOP PICK!
From Jeb Dunnuck: The 2016 Zinfandel Dry Creek checks in as a blend of 85% Zinfandel, 14% Petite Sirah, and 1% Barbera aged 9-10 months in 15% new oak. It has a deep purple color as well as notable purity in its brb, crushed violets, blood orange, and cedary aromas and flavors. Incredibly elegant, seamless, and polished on the palate, it's not a blockbuster but shines for its balance and purity. Drink it over the coming 2-5 year

From Wine Advocate: Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Fombrauge sings of lively kirsch, baked black cherries and warm plums notes plus touches of potpourri, cigar box and garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with decadent red and black fruit preserves, structured by velvety tannins and finishing with fantastic length.
From Wine Spectator: Big and broad in feel, with a cocoa lacing from start to finish that weaves around dark fig and blackberry preserve flavors. Roasted apple wood and tobacco notes score the finish, leaving a touch of woodsy grip echoing. Best from 2022 through 2032.

2016 Alexander Valley

Cabernet Sauvignon

Our best selling Cabernet Sauvignon for under $20! The quality here is off the charts as finding quality Sonoma or Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon under $20 is almost extinct.
Bold, full-bodied and rich. Mighty aromas of black cherry, cassis, wet stone and sweet oak. Rich, layered flavors of red currant, blackberry, dark chocolate and vanilla complement the firm tannins.
