Vernaccia di San Gimignano

90 Wine Spectator

“Toscolo is a labor of love from Neil & Maria Empson's passion for this extraordinary region. The name Toscolo is a homage to Tuscany, an Italian Renaissance word, meaning 'Tuscan boy'”
From Wine Spectator: Fresh and vibrant, this white offer flavors of apple, almond, peach, wild herbs and earth, with a distinctive mineral streak. Displays some weight, a lightly oily texture and a lingering saline finish. Drink now through 2024.
Aia Vecchia

2016 Tuscany

Red Blend

One of the great values from Tuscany!
We have featured this wine many times over the years and has become a customer favorite.
In the glass, the wine is deep ruby with purple hues. On the nose, the wine is delicate with notes of cherry, vanilla, and herbs. On the palate, it is dry, structured and elegant with flavors of plum, ripe cherries, wild berries and a hint of spice, followed by a lengthy and smooth finish that begs for food.
This wine is very versatile and would pair well with both red and white meats, various pasta dishes and hard cheeses.

La Croix de Boyd Cantenac

The second wine of Chateau Boyd Cantenac (3rd Classsified Growth).
At the heart of the Chateau Boyd-Cantenac vines in the noble Margaux terroir, La Croix de Boyd-Cantenac follows in the same vein as the Grand Cru.

Lighter and fruitier, La Croix de Boyd-Cantenac is made with grapes from vine plots that are younger yet just as rich and promising as their elders. Good luck trying to find a better quality Margaux at this price point. This wine over delivers big time!

Abadia Retuerta

2015 Sardon de Duero

Red Blend
93 Wine Spectator
92 Wine Advocate
One of your favorites is back and its another winner!
From Wine Spectator: Rich and dense, this red shows a brooding character, with woodsy and loamy earth notes framing a core of currant and tar. Muscular tannins are well-integrated, and juicy acidity keeps this lively. Harmonious. Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. Drink now through 2030.
From Wine Advocate: The value among the reds is the 2015 Selección Especial, a blend of 66% Tempranillo, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Syrah and 2% Merlot, a blend decided through blind tastings, with fruit from the different plots of vineyard in the estate. It opened up spectacularly as it sat in the glass; it took some time to get focused, and some early lactic notes disappeared to give way to ripe fruit without excess, licorice and even a floral touch.

Domaine Pinson

Premier Cru

93 Wine Spectator

The 2017 vintage in Chablis was spectacular. Do not miss this amazing gem!
From Wine Spectator: There is a lushness to this white, from the sumptuous aromas to the fleshy texture surrounding peach, melon, lemon and baking spice flavors. Harmonious and fresh, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus, mineral and spice. Best from 2020 through 2028.

Celler Cal Pla

2016 Priorat

Red Blend

94 Jeb Dunnuck

Another customer favorite! This wine delivers with its big, full flavor profile.

From Jeb Dunnuck: The 2016 Black Slate Porrera comes from a project of importer Eric Solomon focusing on the specific villages in the Priorat. The 2016 is 60% Grenache and 40% Carignan that was mostly destemmed and spent a full year in used barrels. Thrilling blue fruits, tar, rose petals, and a smoky, marine, iodine-like character all emerge from this full-bodied effort that opens up nicely with time in the glass. Tasting like it cost three times the price, it picks up more minerality with time in the glass, has beautiful balance, and great purity of fruit. It would be hard to find a better value. Drink over the coming 3-5 years.

Getariako Txakolina

White Blend

Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. They own 20 hectares of vines in the best location. From the vineyards one can see the town of St. Sebastian and understand the influence of the Atlantic Ocean on local viticulture.
Made from the indigenous grape varieties of hondarribi zuri and its red companion hondarribi beltza. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and bottled with residual carbonic acid that gives the wine its natural spritz. Refreshing white for patio sipping!

Jean Claude Regnaudot

Clos de Loyeres

Red Burgundy

Didier Regnaudot is the type of vigneron we always dream of finding in the Côte d’Or. Alas, there aren’t many like him left. Didier is the fourth generation to manage his family’s property in the beautiful little town of Dézize-les-Maranges, which is on the southernmost edge of the Côte d’Or, up in the hills just west of Santenay. How does this sound? Deep, structured, seriously dark red Burgundy with thickly textured tannins. There’s a nice taste of Burgundian soul in there.Superb value!

Von Buhl

2017 Pflaz
Bone Dry

This is German dry Riesling at its finest. Perfectly crisp, with a nice zestiness of lemon and lime flavors. Not sure if there is a more perfect picnic wine with its low alcohol and the ability to pair with almost anything.
Since its founding in 1849, Reichsrat von Buhl has stood for some of the noblest Riesling from the best vineyards of Mittelhaardt.

The Great American Wine Co.
By Rosenblum Cellars

2013 USA

$10 elsewhere!

Closeout Alert! This wine normally sells for $10 and up. We were skeptical when we saw the wine was 6 years old at this price point. However, the wine came through and its fruit and vibrancy were still intact. This was was made by Rosenblum Cellars so they know a little something about putting a good Zinfandel together. Makes for a great house red or stock for those summer BBQ's right around the corner.

Great American Wine Co. contributes to U.S. military charities to support our troops and veterans each year.

Chateau Peyrassol

2018 Cotes de Provence

One of the Rose stars in Provence!
Pale in colour, with soft rose-tinted overtones, Chateau Peyrassol radiates freshness. Its subtle nose of citrus, vine peach, apricot and fine floral notes is inviting. It has a beautiful, dense palate, delicate and lively, and is notable for its balance and full body, punctuated by a long, fruity finish.
It is the perfect accompaniment to fish soups, carpaccios and all varieties of grilled fish, but will also add sparkle to red berry desserts.
