TOP 12 for June

Welcome to June! So happy to see the progress and recovery happening in our city and
our country after this crazy past year plus. Like a lot of businesses we have learned that some things that transpired during the pandemic will remain. For us, it's the curbside pickup. This will not go away as so many have expressed how they love the convenience.
Of course many of you are coming in for the first time in over a year and are thrilled to be back in the shop, which of course we welcome! We have a feeling it's going to be a summer of celebrations so we are here to provide you with great suggestions for all your wine and craft beer needs.
Enjoy the start of summer! See you soon!

Jonette, Mark, Brian, Kiel, & Monique

Getaraiko Txakolina

White Blend

Ameztoi is one of the top producers of Getariako Txakolina. The winery owns 20 hectares of vines in the best location. From the vineyards one can see the town of San Sebastian and understand the influence of the Atlantic Ocean on this vineyard site.
The wines' soft effervescence needles the flavor, drawing out the background spice to bring more complexity, more than just simple freshness.

Wow! Talk about a classic. One of the original Rhone Ranger wineries!

Mostly Grenache and Mourvedre, this wine lshows bright red fruit with nice acidity.
A hint of spice leads into a lengthy finish.

Tenuta delle Terre Nere

2019 Etna

Even young it is a distinguished wine. Fresh, fragrant, beautifully slender and with a fine grip, it has a natural polish, a stage presence, as it were.
Easily one of the best Etna Rosso's in the market. Mostly Nerello Mascalese.
Flavors of wild berry, ash and dried rose petals.

Von Buhl

2018 Pfalz

Riesling Kabinett

ARMAND was the dazzling personality in the estate’s history. It was he who made the estate what it still is today – an internationally recognised leading wine estate. He was awarded the title "Reichsrat of the Bavarian Crown“ for his contribution to politics and he crowned his life with the opening of the Suez Canal, at which VON BUHL wine was served when the ribbon was cut. Remarkable finesse and balance. Tiny hint of sweetness balanced by great acidity.

Ettore Germano
