Estevez Bodegas y Vinedos

2022 Bierzo
VERSOS DE VALTUILLE

 Mencia

92 Wine Advocate

This is a young, fruit-driven and unoaked wine; it has depth and complexity and is very harmonious, with contained ripeness. It's juicy and balanced, young and tasty, with very fine tannins, round and elegant. The Mencia grape has really made some strong impressions over the years and is really starting to emerge as a star in Spanish wine.

Poco a Poco

2021 Mendocino County
CHAPMAN VINEYARD

Carignane

Organic
Vegan
Sustainable

We rarely see domestic Carignan. So it was great surprise to find this extremely tasting wine coming from Mendocino. From 40+ year old vines, dry farmed and organically farmed. Dark berries, forest floor and savory notes on the well-structured finish.

Fresh and crisp. this is a textbook Gruner Veltliner with clean flavors that are deliciously expressive.

S & B Borgogno

Barbaresco

91 Jeb Dunnuck

Fresh and inviting with aromas of fresh red cherries, raspberries seeds, lifted wet stone, fresh roses, and fresh thyme. Elegant and medium-bodied, it's spritely on the palate, with zesty acidity, a hint of gamey, iron-rich earth, and an orange citrus note on the finish.

Finding a solid Pinot Noir for under $20 is always challenging. This wine stood out recently at an industry tasting. Flavors of red and black cherry, plum, black tea and Herbs de Provence on the smooth, textured finish.
