There will be many who discount this wine when they see the varietals as a wine that is probably too sweet. Not the case at all especially when pairing with the right food. The Edelzwicker, which translates to "noble blend," is sort of a wine free-for-all. It can be a blend of any of the officially permitted Alsatian white varieties, in any proportion. Producers with a little bit of this, that, and the other blend them into a fresh table white for everyday enjoyment.
