This project began in an unusual moment. During the early days of COVID, this importer had the rare opportunity to source exceptional barrels and tanks of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, some from seriously respected estates, at prices that simply didn’t reflect the quality. Instead of letting that opportunity pass, they blended Saint-Galet to deliver something we almost never see from this iconic region: real-deal Châteauneuf at an everyday price.

If you’ve ever been curious about Châteauneuf-du-Pape but hesitated because of the price tag, this is exactly where to start.

What makes Saint-Galet special is the relentless selection process. Most blending lots are rejected, they are only looking for wines that capture the soul of the appellation: sun-drenched fruit, wild herbs, and that unmistakable Southern Rhône depth and character.

The 2023 vintage follows right in line with what’s made this wine such a favorite:
Layers of ripe red and dark fruits, notes of garrigue (that signature mix of thyme, rosemary, and lavender), and a bold, satisfying finish that overdelivers at every turn.

It’s the kind of bottle that works just as well at a backyard dinner as it does alongside grilled lamb, burgers, or anything smoky off the grill.
