It is made from various vineyards in the Sierra Foothills AVA area and produces a refined red wine that resembles the original Zinfandel that are balanced with hints of pepper.

Verdiso
Because of its tendency to ripen later than the region’s other white grapes, Verdiso was almost lost to history in the mid-twentieth century. That would have been a shame, because it makes a unique and refreshing wine. The 2021 has a sweet nose with summery whiffs of peach and apricot, a silky mid-palate, and a lovely citrus and mineral finish. Imported by Kermit Lynch.
