Chateau Candeley 2022 Bordeaux

This Chateau Candeley Malbec is a Bordeaux red that captures the classic structure and savory elegance of the region while showcasing the depth and generosity Malbec can bring.

I cannot remember if we have ever featured a wine from Bordeaux that was primarily Malbec. This was a surprise; we didn't expect the balance and flavor profile to be so impressive at this price- point.

In the glass, expect an inviting bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, black plum, cedar, and warm spice, with subtle earthy notes that speak to its Bordeaux roots. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, with ripe dark fruit, fine tannins, and a smooth, layered finish.

This is a fun and unexpected find!
